Chart News For Sunday

Filthy Dukes, new single "Tupac Robot Club Rock" currently on the Radio 1 A List are yet to make the top 100.. The "nation's station" has subsequently dropped the track for next week which isn't very helpful, and usually with a chart reaction like this, Radio 1 refuse to back further singles from artists. Unless they are American.

Natalie Imbruglia's new single, "Want" co-written with Coldplay's Chris Martin currently outside the top 65.

Sliimy - remember the big fuss about this chap, "the French pop sensation" signed via Perez Hilton to Warners? No? Nor do the charts. Couldn't find his single or album in the top 200. Its a shame isn't it.

Another couple of interesting things we've noticed just this week.

Pixie Lott's single "Boys And Girls" is riding high in the radio airplay charts, actually riding at the top of the radio airplay charts - this is not helping her debut album, that peaked at 6, and has dropped out of the 20 already. The post about the plane is coming true.

Much hyped The Xx, currently topping the Hype Machine chart with their frankly shambolic out of tune karaoke version of Florence & The Machine's version of Candi Staton's "You Got The Love" isn't helping them either, nor does a Later With Jools Holland performance, their debut album is out of the 100. But kids, its not just about record sales is it. No. More about this soon we promise.
